She is licensed worldwide as a Certified Financial Planner and has provided pro bono counseling to people affected by financial catastrophes, including September 11 and Hurricane Sandy.

She also has been a professional author of legal papers, primarily in the field of divorce and family law, and has an impressive record of success in submissions to New York State Supreme Court and Family Court, as well as on Appellate briefs. She lives on Long Island with her husband and also spends time in the Berkshires, Massachusetts, and Boca Raton, Florida. This is her first full length work of fiction.
